Golden edges, tender apples, and a soft, almost custardy crumb—this gluten-free French apple cake brings all the charm of a classic bake with a nourishing twist.

Mashed ripe bananas add natural sweetness and moisture, while oats create a gentle, rustic texture that makes every bite feel hearty yet light. As the cake bakes, the apples soften into the batter, creating pockets of warm, melt-in-your-mouth fruit throughout.

It’s the kind of simple, feel-good recipe that fits just as well on a cozy weekend table as it does sliced up for an everyday treat. No fuss, just honest ingredients and comforting flavors inspired by traditional French baking.
