Banana Agua Fresca | The Mexican Summer Drink
Ingredients
- 6 bananas (semi-ripe | Divided)
- 12 oz (340 g) evaporated milk (1 regular can)
- 14 oz (396 g) sweetened condensed milk (1 regular can)
- 2 tsp (10 g) vanilla bean paste
- 1 tsp (2 g) ground cinnamon
- 16 oz (455 g) Spring Water (Cold | 2 cups)
- Ice cubes + extra cinnamon (To Serve)
Instructions
- NOTE: This recipe makes a full 64 oz | 2 Quart | 1.9 Liters pitcher.
- Peel all of the bananas, then slice 2 of them into coins and set them aside.6 bananas
BLEND SMOOTH
- Add the remaining 4 bananas to a blender with the evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla bean paste, ground cinnamon, and cold spring water.Blend until everything is smooth, creamy, and fully combined.12 oz evaporated milk, 14 oz sweetened condensed milk, 2 tsp vanilla bean paste, 1 tsp ground cinnamon, 16 oz Spring Water
- Add ice to a large pitcher, then toss in the sliced bananas.Pour the banana mixture over the ice and give it a good stir.Finish with a little extra cinnamon on top and serve cold. Enjoy Summer!NOTE: This drink is best enjoyed the day of and really cold!Ice cubes + extra cinnamon
