Ingredients
 

  • 2 large bananas (Roughly Mashed | 8.50 oz / 240 g)
  • 1/2 lemon juice (From 1 lemon)
  • 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 3 Tbsp Golden raisins
  • 1 Tbsp Dark Rum
  • 1 Tbsp spring water

Instructions
 

BANANA RUM RAISIN SAUCE PREPARATION

  • Peel the bananas and place them in a saucepan.
    Mash them roughly into a purée, leaving some small chunks for texture.

  • Add the lemon juice, granulated sugar, golden raisins, rum, and the spring water. Bring it to a simmer.
    Cover and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes.
    Remove the lid and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has reduced to your desired consistency (about 5 minutes).
    1/2 lemon juice, 2 Tbsp granulated sugar, 3 Tbsp Golden raisins, 1 Tbsp Dark Rum, 1 Tbsp spring water

  • Remove from the heat and let the sauce cool before serving.
    This banana sauce keeps well in the fridge up to 3 day. Once it has cooled down, simply transfer it to a small jar and store it in the refrigerator. Enjoy & Bon Appétit!

  3. Je fais partie de ceux qui adorent la glace rhum/raisins et je suis une fan de bananes écrasées, alors tu imagines bien que cette compote me plait beaucoup, sur une crèpe ou tout simplement à la petite cuillère.
