Peel the bananas and place them in a saucepan.Mash them roughly into a purée, leaving some small chunks for texture.
2 large bananas
Add the lemon juice, granulated sugar, golden raisins, rum, and the spring water. Bring it to a simmer.Cover and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes.Remove the lid and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has reduced to your desired consistency (about 5 minutes).
1/2 lemon juice, 2 Tbsp granulated sugar, 3 Tbsp Golden raisins, 1 Tbsp Dark Rum, 1 Tbsp spring water
