Tzatziki Mini Cakes

The Apéro time with friends and family has always been one of my favorite moments as it brings the persons I Love and Care together.

Even though, the Apéro has mostly been on Zoom this year… it does not mean it cannot be enjoyed with bite-size food, and a nice glass of Sancerre.

The one person I truly know who is the Queen of the Apéro, is Marion from Novice en Cuisine.

Tzatziki Mini Cakes

When it's apero time this is my go to recipe as it is prepared and baked in only 15 minutes time. It cannot get better than that!

Ingredients
 

  • 1 egg
  • 4 oz (110 g) tzatziki
  • 1/4 cup (50 g) cilantro oil (LINK under Equipment)
  • 3.5 oz (100 g) flour (sifted)
  • 1.5 tsp (6 g) baking powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven at 350F/180C.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and tzatziki.
  • Slowly, add the Cilantro oil.
  • Then, combine flour and baking powder together. Whisk until smooth.
  • Pour your batter into the flexipan® with the mini ladle.
  • Bake for 10 minutes at 350F/180C. (Every oven heats differently, monitor your mini cakes from 8min)
  • Once your mini cakes are out of the oven, let them cool down for about 10min. Then, Unmold, Serve and Enjoy! Bon Appétit!
