Warm Bacon & Brussels Sprouts Salad
Do you like to eat Brussels sprouts? Good! Because I am of those who do not! LOL The truth is that it was not a very common vegetable at the Supermarket when I was growing up overseas. Well… Maybe, I never really enjoyed it based on how it was cooked.

Warm Bacon & Brussels Sprouts Salad
Now everyone who were told they would be eating this salad gave me a frown. However, they all asked for seconds. Who will try this recipe?
Ingredients
- 1 Lbs (455 g) Fresh Brussels Sprouts (Shredded)
- 4 slices of bacon
- Sel Gris Mill (Season to Taste)
- Pepper Mill (Season to Taste)
- 1 Tbsp (15 g) Meyer Lemon Oil
- 2 Tbsp (30 g) Lemon Juice
- 3 Tbsp (40 g) goat cheese
Instructions
BRUSSELS SPROUTS PREPARATION
- Trim stalk ends and remove outer leaves from your Brussels sprouts. Wash and pat dry.
- Using the mandoline (lowest setting), thinly slice your Brussels sprouts. Set aside.
COOK!
- Heat a frying pan on medium, and once hot, place the sliced bacon. Cook for about 5 minutes, until golden on edges.
- Add the shredded Brussels Sprouts. Season with Salt and Pepper. Toss to coat in oil. Cook for about 3 minutes until heated through and slightly wilted but not brown, stirring occasionally. When ready, remove from heat and add the Meyer lemon oil with the lemon juice. Toss to combine.
- Transfer to your serving platter. Arrange crumbled goat cheese on top. Serve hot. Enjoy & Bon Appétit!
