Skull Cheese Pizza Calzone | Halloween
Equipment
Ingredients
- 2 pizza crusts (2×14.1 oz / 400 g rolls | I used Jus-Rol)
- 1 1/2 tbsp (21 g) olive oil
- 12 Tbsp (180 g) marinara sauce
- 8 oz (227 g) shredded cheese
- 1 Tbsp (5 g) Oregano
Instructions
- Place your Haunted Skull Nordic Ware on the top of your medium perforated baking sheet. Set Aside.
- Preheat oven to 400F/200C.
PIZZA PREPARATION
- Unroll the pizza crust into a rectangle. Use a silicone proof knife to slice 6 rectangles.2 pizza crusts
- Brush the olive oil into each skull cavity to grease the pan then drape the pizza dough inside pressing down on each detail.1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- Fill each skull with 2 tablespoons of marinara sauce, 1/3 cup of shredded cheese and dried oregano.12 Tbsp marinara sauce, 8 oz shredded cheese, 1 Tbsp Oregano
- Cut off the excess dough, and pinch together the seams. Brush with olive oil and add dried oregano on top. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
BAKE!
- Bake for 15 minutes at 400F/200C. (Every oven heats differently, monitor your pizza from 13 minutes). It is ready when the crust looks cooked through and golden brown.
- Once your Skull Cheese Pizza Calzone is out of the oven, serve right away. Enjoy! "BONE" Appétit & Happy HALLOWEEN!

I am glad I did because most of the time people don’t bother to share where they got their recipe from and this recipe is 12 years old! And it is a keeper! ~Nessa
