Fresh Peach Lemonade | a Summer Drink
Equipment
Ingredients
- 4 peaches (Ripe | Sliced)
- 8 oz (227 g) Spring Water (1 cup)
- 2 tsp (10 g) vanilla bean paste (My Personal Addition)
- 3.53 oz (100 g) granulated sugar
- 8 oz (227 g) lemon juice (4-6 Lemons | 1 cup)
- 32 oz (900 g) Spring Water (Cold | 4 cups)
Instructions
- NOTE: This recipe makes a full 64 oz | 2 Quart | 1.9 Liters pitcher.
SIMMER SWEET PEACHES
- Wash the peaches under cold water and slice them. Remove the pit. Set aside. NOTE: YES, we are keeping the skin to enjoy all the vitamins!4 peaches
- In a medium saucepan, combine the sliced peaches, together with the spring water, and vanilla bean paste. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat. Reduce the heat to medium low heat, and let them cook for about 5 minutes.8 oz Spring Water, 2 tsp vanilla bean paste
- Whisk in the granulated sugar and let them cook for an additional 5 minutes on medium low heat, or until super soft.3.53 oz granulated sugar
BLEND SMOOTH
- Carefully pour the peach mix (liquid included!) into a blender. Blitz until silky, about 1 minute. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed. Transfer to a pitcher.
- Add the lemon juice and the spring water. Mix to combine. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.Refrigerate until cold, about 4 hours. Enjoy Summer!NOTE: Keeps well in the refrigerator up to 3 days. Give it a little shake once out of the fridge to combine all the flavors.8 oz lemon juice, 32 oz Spring Water
