Lavender Honey Orange Donut Cakes
Until I have made this recipe, I never realized how fantastic Honey and Orange are when paired together.

Lavender Honey Orange Donut Cakes

Ingredients
- 7 tbsp (100 g) butter (Melted)
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup (70 g) Sugar
- 2 tbsp (40 g) Lavender Honey
- 1/4 tsp (1.25 g) Orange extract
- 1 orange (Zest + Juice)
- 1 1/4 cups (155 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp (5 g) Baking Powder
Instructions
- Place your Donut Flexipat® Tray on the top of your Medium Perforated Baking Sheet.
- Preheat oven to 350F/180C.
ORANGE DONUTS PREPARATION
- Place butter in a small sauce pan and heat on low until melted. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, Lavender Honey and orange extract. Fold the orange zest and juice. Add the all-purpose flour, baking powder and the cooled melted butter.
- Fill your Pastry Bag with the batter and carefully pipe it into each well of the Flexipat®.
BAKE!
- Bake for 20 minutes at 350F/180C and cover with your Bonmat™. This will allow for your donuts to rise flat. (Every oven heats differently, monitor your Donut Cakes from 18min) IMPORTANT: Do not over cook your Donuts as you will not taste the Orange nor the Honey.
- Once your Lavender Honey Orange Donut Cakes are out of the oven, remove the Bonmat right away and let them cool down for about 10min. Then, unmold, serve and Enjoy! Bon appétit!
