Greek Honey & Citrus Baked Salmon

Greek Honey & Citrus Baked Salmon

This Baked Citrus Salmon is so delicious. It is the perfect when you don't want your entire house smelling like fish 🙂

Ingredients
 

  • 6 Tbsp (85 g) butter (Melted)
  • 2 Tbsp (30 g) Greek Olive oil
  • 4 Tbsp (85 g) Greek Honey
  • 1 lemon (1/2 Thinly Sliced | 1/2 Juiced)
  • 1 orange (1/2 Thinly Sliced | 1/2 Juiced)
  • 8 oz (225 g) salmon filets
  • Lavender Salt
  • Pepper Mill
  • 1 Tbsp (20 g) Greek Feta Herbs

Instructions
 

SALMON PREPARATION

  • Place butter, Greek olive oil and honey in a small sauce pan and heat on low until butter has melted. Set aside.
  • Cut your lemon and orange in half. Press the juice from one half of each citrus into the cooled honey/butter preparation. Thinly slice the remaining halves with your Santoku knife. Then, transfer half of the slices on the bottom of the Flexipat®.

  • Salt and pepper both sides of the salmon and lay it skin side down on top of the citrus slices.

  • Place the remaining lemon and orange slices along the side of the salmon. Pour over your citrus/honey mixture. Season with Greek herbs on top.

BAKE!

  • Cover with your Bonmat and bake for 25 minutes at 350F/180C. Remove from oven, uncover, and increase heat on oven to 475F/245C. Bake for an additional 5 minutes. Use the Digital Thermometer to ensure the salmon is cooked through at 165°F/75C.

  • Once your Greek Honey & Citrus Baked Salmon is out of the oven, let it cool down for about 10min. Serve and Enjoy! Bon Appétit!
