French Ham & Cheese (Gluten Free)

Who does not love a nice Ham & Cheese?

I know this recipe is a bit atypical, but wait until you taste it, it is truly delicious, and Gluten Free! Also, I am thankful for my Guy Demarle Colleague, Caroline (@une_toulousaine_en_cuisine) who is from Toulouse to have created this recipe for all of us to enjoy. Check it out right HERE!

French Ham & Cheese (Gluten Free)

This GF French Ham and Cheese is perfect to be enjoyed by the entire family. Add mix greens on the side and it's a meal!

Ingredients
 

  • 1 Tbsp (15 g) butter (Melted)
  • 3 Tbsp (50 g) milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup (125 g) Gluten Free flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp (8 g) baking powder
  • 2/3 cup (85 g) Gruyère cheese (Grated)
  • 1/2 cup (125 g) Steak Ham (Diced)
  • Lavender Salt (Season to Taste)
  • Madagascar Pepper (Season to Taste)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven at 350F/180C.
  • Place butter in a small sauce pan and heat on low until melted. Set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk and cooled butter.
  • Mix in the GF flour and baking powder.
  • Add the grated gruyère (save a couple of tablespoons for the toppings). Season with Lavender Salt and Pepper. Mix until combined.
  • Place your Donut Flexipat® Tray on the top of your Medium Perforated Baking Sheet.
  • Fill your Pastry Bag with the batter and carefully pipe it onto each well of the Flexipat®. Add the diced ham on top along with the remaining Gruyère.
  • Bake for 20 minutes at 350F/180C. (Every oven heats differently, monitor your donuts from 18min)
  • Once your French Ham & Cheese are out of the oven, let them cool down for about 5 minutes before unmolding. Then, Serve and Enjoy with a Fresh Salad! Bon Appétit!
