Halloween Soft Scream Cookies with Orange Blossom

These Halloween Soft Scream Cookies will delight everyone. The orange blossom brings so much flavor, it is perfect!

Ingredients
 

SOFT COOKIES

  • 2 Tbsp (28 g) butter (Melted)
  • 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 Tbsp (6 g) baking powder
  • 1/4 cup (50 g) sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup (80 g) milk
  • 1/4 cup (55 g) vegetable oil
  • 1/2 Tbsp (7.5 g) Orange Blossom Water

TOPPINGS

  • 2 Tbsp (28 g) butter (Melted)
  • 1/4 cup (50 g) sugar

Instructions
 

SOFT COOKIES

  • Place butter in a small sauce pan and heat on low until melted. Set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder and sugar. Make a well and add the egg. Gently start mixing inwards going outwards with your mini whisk. Add the milk, vegetable oil, cooled melted butter and orange blossom water. Fold into ball or until it is all incorporated. Cover with your Octagonal bonMAT™ and let it rise in a turned off preheated oven (100F/37C) for 30 minutes or at room temperature for 45 minutes.

  • Transfer your dough onto your Roul'Pat® and roll it into 1/3"|1cm thickness. Using your Round Cutters cut your dough for the outer circle.

  • Then use a tip to cut the eyes and face of your scream cookies.

  • Place each cookie lightly stretched onto your Bonmat®.

BAKE!

  • Preheat oven to 350F/180C.
  • Place butter in a small sauce pan and heat on low until melted. Set aside.
  • Bake for 13 minutes at 350F/180C. (Every oven heats differently, monitor your Cookies from 10min). It is ready when lightly golden to the sides.

  • Right out of the oven, brush the each cookie with melted butter and coat with sugar. Enjoy & Bon Appétit!
