Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp (48 g) ground cinnamon (1.69 oz)
  • 2 Tbsp (10 g) ground ginger (0.35 oz)
  • 1 Tbsp (7 g) ground nutmeg (0.25 oz)
  • 2 tsp (4 g) ground cloves (0.14 oz)
  • 2 tsp (4 g) ground all spice (0.14 oz)
  • 1 Tbsp (6 g) ground cardamom (0.21 oz)

Instructions

  • IMPORTANT: When making your own pumpkin pie spice, it is very important to use high-quality spices. I highly recommend to purchase new bottles of spices in order to guarantee freshness. Once assembled your pumpkin pie spice is good for 6 month.

PUMPKIN PIE SPICE PREPARATION

  • In a small bowl, whisk all the spices together: Cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, all spice, cloves and cardamom, until well combined.
Pour the spice mixture into a glass jar (Mason Style) that seals well. You may use a small funnel as well.
This recipe makes 34 teaspoons for you to enjoy all Fall and Winter long. Enjoy! Autumn Leaves & Pumpkins Please!
6 Tbsp ground cinnamon, 2 Tbsp ground ginger, 1 Tbsp ground nutmeg, 2 tsp ground cloves, 2 tsp ground all spice, 1 Tbsp ground cardamom
  • NOTE: This homemade pumpkin pie spice mixture will last in a tightly sealed container until the individual spices’ expiration dates, which is typically 1–2 years. Buy them all at once to ensure equal freshness and store at room temperature in a dry place, like a cupboard, drawer, or pantry and away from the stove.
  • NOTE 2: Cardamom is not a typical spice in the Pumpkin Pie Spice, however it takes it to another level. Try it!
