  • 2 oz (60 g) Maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp (30 g) Orange Blossom Water
  • orange zest (From 1 Orange)
  • 1/4 tsp (0.5 g) ground cinnamon
  • 1/16 tsp (0.38 g) sea salt
  • 2 oz (55 g) raw pistachios (Crushed | For rolling)

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

ORANGE BLOSSOM ENERGY BALLS PREPARATION

  • In a mixing bowl, add the almond flour, shredded coconut, maple syrup, orange blossom water, orange zest, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Using a spatula, combine until the ingredients come together into a thick dough.
NOTE: The dough is a bit soft that is quite alright as they will harden once refrigerated.
Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let it rest for about 15 minutes. This allows the flavors to come together.
4 oz almond flour, 1 oz shredded coconut, 2 oz Maple syrup, 2 Tbsp Orange Blossom Water, orange zest, 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon, 1/16 tsp sea salt
  • Scoop out about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball between your hands.
  • Roll the ball in the finely chopped pistachios until it is coated. You can also roll the balls in extra shredded coconut for added texture and flavor.
    2 oz raw pistachios
  • Repeat the process for the remaining mixture, placing the finished balls on a parchment-lined tray.
  • Chill the Orange Blossom Energy Balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to firm them up. Enjoy and Ramadan Kareem!
