This Marry Me Chicken is one of those dishes that instantly feels like a warm hug. Tender chicken breasts are gently simmered in a rich, creamy Tuscan-style sauce with garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, and just the right amount of indulgence.

Ingredients
 

MARRY ME CHICKEN

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • salt, pepper
  • 1.76 oz (50 g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp (28 g) olive oil
  • 1 oz (28 g) butter

MARRY ME SAUCE

  • 3 Garlic Cloves (Chopped)
  • 7.75 oz (220 g) chicken broth
  • 8.45 oz (240 g) heavy cream
  • 1.60 oz (45 g) parmesan cheese (Grated)
  • 1 tsp (2 g) red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp (0.5 g) Greek oregano
  • 1/4 tsp (0.25 g) dried thyme
  • 2.12 oz (60 g) Sun dried tomatoes in oil (Sliced)
  • Fresh basil leaves (Chopped | To garnish)

Instructions
 

MARRY ME CHICKEN PREPARATION

  • Slice the chicken lengthwise into thin cutlets. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
    Dredge in all-purpose flour and shake off any excess.

  • In a large skillet, on medium heat, heat the olive oil together with the butter until melted. Swirl pan to coat with oil and butter evenly.
    2 Tbsp olive oil, 1 oz butter
  • Brown the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer onto a plate, cover, and set aside.
    NOTE: Do not overcrowd and work in batches if needed.

MARRY ME SAUCE PREPARATION

  • In the same pan, sauté the garlic for a minute or so, until fragrant.
    Add the chicken broth and deglaze the pan scraping any bits stuck to the bottom of the pan with a heat proof spatula.
    3 Garlic Cloves, 7.75 oz chicken broth
  • Adjust the heat to medium-low, and add the heavy cream and the grated parmesan cheese to the pan. Allow the sauce to simmer for a couple of minutes, then season with chili flakes, Greek oregano and thyme. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Add the sundried tomatoes then put the chicken back in the sauce and let the sauce simmer and thicken for a few more minutes.
    2.12 oz Sun dried tomatoes in oil
  • Once your Marry Me Chicken is ready, taste and season to taste. Garnish with chopped fresh basil leaves and serve warm over pasta or rice. Enjoy & Bon Appétit!
