Place the candied fruits and Golden Raisins in a medium size bowl, pour the dark Rum or Cointreau. Let it set for an hour minimum, mixing time to time.
Preheat oven at 400F/200C.
Place butter in a small sauce pan and heat on low until melted. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs and sugar together.
Then, add the flour and baking powder until incorporated. Then add the melted butter.
Add the entire bowl of candied fruits and golden raisins with the alcohol into your mixture, and gently stir with your spatula.
Bake for 30 minutes at 400F/200C. (Every oven heats differently, monitor your cake from 25min)
Once your cake is out of the oven, let it cool down for about 10min. Then, Unmold, serve and enjoy! Bon appétit!
