Halloween Italian Mummy Sausages with Bucatini

These Spooky Italian Mummy Sausages are dressed in Bucatini pasta. Truly, the perfect meal to share for a Halloween!

Ingredients
 

PASTA

  • 6 oz (170 g) bucatini pasta (Cooked al dente)

SAUCE

  • 1 1/2 cups (370 g) marinara sauce

ASSEMBLY

  • 6 (670 g) Italian chicken sausage links
  • 6 Cherry tomatoes (Washed | Halved)
  • 1/2 Tbsp (1 g) fines herbs
  • Sel Gris Mill (Season to taste)
  • Pepper Mil (Season to taste)
  • candy decorations (Eyes)

Instructions
 

PASTA

  • Cook your pasta al dente as indicated on the packet. 9 minutes for me.

SAUCE

  • Place your marinara sauce in a microwavable bowl. Cover and heat for 2 minutes. Set aside.

ITALIAN SAUSAGE

  • Place your Italian sausages in a frying pan with 1/2"|2cm of water. Once the water is simmering cover and cook for 10 minutes. Uncover and continue cooking, turning the sausages from time to time. They are ready when the Digital Thermometer registers 165°F/75C.

ASSEMBLY

  • Scoop 1/2 cup of marinara on each serving plate. Then, wrap a few bucatini around 2 Italian Sausages and arrange them on top of the marinara sauce. Add the sliced tomatoes, season with Fines herbs blend, Salt and Pepper to taste. Serve hot with candy eye decorations. Enjoy and Bon Appétit!
