Meanwhile, in a medium sauce pan, heat the milk and butter together, by stirring occasionally. Your preparation is ready once the butter has melted and the milk is hot (not boiling). Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together all the dry ingredients (all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar and sea salt). Make a well and add the eggs, vanilla bean paste and your cooled milk/butter preparation. Beat on a medium high speed for 1 minute or until it is all incorporated and fluffy.
THERMOMIX PREPARATION
In the bowl of your Thermomix, place the following ingredients in this order: all-purpose flour (8.82 oz | 250 g), baking powder (0.42 oz | 12 g), sugar (1.06 oz | 30 g), sea salt (0.01 oz | 0.38 g), 2 eggs, vanilla bean paste (1.18 oz | 5 g), milk (12.70 oz | 360 g) and cold butter in pieces (2.47 oz | 70 g). Blend 30 sec/speed 9. NOTE: Depending on how cold your butter is you might need to mix a couple of seconds more.
REST
Cover your batter with a plastic wrap and leave it at room temperature for 1 hour.
Bake for 15 minutes at 425F/220C. (Every oven heats differently, monitor your waffles from 12min).
Once your French Vanilla Waffles are out of the oven, let them cool down for about 1min. Then, flip and serve. Enjoy with some powdered sugar on top or with fresh fruits. Bon Appétit!
