Add a zesty twist to your holiday season with these homemade dried citrus slices! Discover the perfect addition to your Christmas advent decorations and gift ideas.
Wash and pat dry your citrus, then slice crosswise 1/4 inch | 0.64 cm. Blot off all the excess juice and moisture with a paper towel.
Set the slices in a single layer on your Large Bonmat.
BAKE!
Bake Lemon and Lime for 3 hours, Oranges for 4 hours and 6 hours for Grapefruits at 215F/102C. Flip them on the over side every hour for even cooking. They are ready when dry to the touch, sticky is okay. Cool completely before storing or using. NOTE: If possible, let them sit in the turned off oven overnight.
When ready, start decorating your house or store the slices in a tin metal box (They stay fresh up to 4 weeks). Happy Holidays!
