Dried Citrus Slices (Christmas Decor)

Ingredients
 

  • 4 citrus (Grapefruit | Orange | Lemon | Lime)

CITRUS SLICES PREPARATION

  • Wash and pat dry your citrus, then slice crosswise 1/4 inch | 0.64 cm. Blot off all the excess juice and moisture with a paper towel.
  • Set the slices in a single layer on your Large Bonmat.

BAKE!

  • Bake Lemon and Lime for 3 hours, Oranges for 4 hours and 6 hours for Grapefruits at 215F/102C. Flip them on the over side every hour for even cooking. They are ready when dry to the touch, sticky is okay. Cool completely before storing or using. NOTE: If possible, let them sit in the turned off oven overnight.
  • When ready, start decorating your house or store the slices in a tin metal box (They stay fresh up to 4 weeks). Happy Holidays!
