Salsa Verde Baked Eggs

Perfect for Brunch when you do not feel like cooking much on the weekend.

This recipe was created by our Chef Experts at Bon Cook™, who come up with new menu items monthly for our delights. Hence, I had to share!

Also, this is very important, do not forget to have nice warm corn tortillas on the side (Homemade or Bought). And some steamed rice.

Salsa Verde Baked Eggs

An Easy Brunch Recipe for 1 or to share, which is prepared and baked under 20 minutes. Don't forget to add the Warm Tortillas on the side.

Ingredients
 

  • 16 oz (450 g) Salsa Verde
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp (30 g) Sweet basil olive oil
  • 1/4 cup (30 g) Mix Cheddar Cheese (Shredded)
  • Lavender Salt (Season to Taste)
  • Madagascar Pepper (Season to Taste)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400F/200C.
  • Pour the Salsa Verde into your Flexipan®.
  • Make 3 wells, and crack an egg into each well.
  • Sprinkle the Sweet Basil Oil, shredded cheese and season to taste (Lavender Salt and Pepper). Then, cover with your bonMAT™.
  • Bake for 15 minutes at 400F/200C. Keep the bonMAT™ on for the first 10min and remove it carefully with your oven cloth. (Every oven heats differently, monitor your eggs from 12min).
  • Once your Baked Eggs are out of the oven, serve right away. Enjoy with Warm Tortilla Chips on the side. Bon Appétit!
