Roasted Balsamic Blooming Onions

Roasted Balsamic Blooming Onions

Ingredients
- 2 red onions
- 2 sweet onions
- 1/4 cup (65 g) Barrel Aged Traditional Balsamic
- 1/4 cup (55 g) Rosemary Olive Oil
Instructions
- Place your Medium Round Flexipan® Mold on the top of your Large Perforated Baking Sheet. Set aside.
- Preheat oven to 400F/200C.
ROASTED ONIONS PREPARATION
- Cut the top end of all your onions. Make a cut in half without reaching the bottom end, make another cut in half again and repeat to have 4 cuts. Do the same for the other onions. Then, place your onions in your mixing bowl, pour the Dark Balsamic Vinegar and the Rosemary Olive Oil. Mix and let it stand for 10 minutes.
- Transfer your onions into your Flexipan® pour the remaining oil/vinegar on top. Cover with your octagonal Bonmat.
BAKE!
- Bake for 30 minutes at 400F/200C.
- Once your Roasted Balsamic Blooming Onions are out of the oven, let them cool down for about 5 minutes, then scoop them onto your service plate. Enjoy & Bon Appétit.
