Perfect Oven-Baked Brown Rice

Perfect Oven-Baked Brown Rice

Ingredients
STEP 1
- 2 1/3 cups (550 g) Bottled Water
- 1 Tbsp (15 g) roasted garlic oil
- 1 tsp (6 g) Sel Gris Mill
STEP 2
- 1 1/2 cups (285 g) brown rice
- 1 Tbsp (8 g) Roasted Garlic and Chive Herb blend
Instructions
- Place your Medium Round Flexipan® Mold on the top of a microwave safe plate.
- Preheat oven to 375F/190C.
STEP 1
- Directly in your Flexipan®, add in the water, Roasted Garlic Olive Oil and Salt . Microwave for 3-4 minutes or until water is boiling.
STEP 2
- Carefully remove from microwave and slide your Flexipan® onto your Medium Perforated Baking Sheet.
- Add in the brown rice and roasted garlic and chive herb blend stir to combine. Cover the mold with the Octagonal Bonmat.
BAKE!
- Bake for 60 minutes at 375F/190C. (Every oven heats differently, monitor your rice from 55min). It is ready when all water is absorbed.
- Once rice is done, let it rest for 5 minutes covered. Then, carefully remove the Octagonal Bonmat minding the steam. Gently fluff the rice with a fork. Serve and Enjoy! Bon Appétit!
J’ai passé mon CAP cuisine il y a 2 ans (juste pour le plaisir …) et il fallait maitriser cette cuisson du riz au four qui est d’ailleurs excellente, un exercice sur lequel je suis tombée à l’examen entre autre !! Bises
WOW toutes mes félicitations, c’est impressionnant, Bravo! J’adore cuire mon riz au four ou encore mieux au microonde. La cuisson à l’ancienne ce n’est pas pour moi (ça colle de partout, c’est affreux!) Grosses bises, ~Nessa

Non, c’est vrai??! Moi j’adore cuire le riz au four et au microonde: C’est sans chichi et surtout ça ne colle pas comme dans la casserole. Essaie et tu m’en diras des nouvelles! Bises, ~Nessa
