Anise Drop Macaron Cookies (Anisplätzchen) (Bredele 2022)
Equipment
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup (65 g) sugar
- 1 Tbsp (15 g) sugar
- 1 tsp anise extract
- 3/4 cup (90 g) all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Place your Macaron Bonmat™ on the top of your Medium Perforated Baking Sheet. Set Aside.
ANISE MACARON COOKIES
- In a mixing bowl, first beat the egg and sugar together with your hand mixer for 5 minutes on the highest speed. Then, beat for another 5 minutes on a lower speed. Add the anise extract and combine the all-purpose flour.
- Place the dough in your Pastry Bag with the round tip on. Pipe your cookie into a "drop" shape. Then, let it rest for 12 hours prior baking in order for the cookie to dry on top.
BAKE!
- When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350F/180C. Bake for 8 minutes (Every oven heats differently, monitor your cookies from 5min). It is ready when the second part of the cookie has formed below the dome.
- Once your Anise Drop Macaron Cookies are out of the oven, let them cool down completely on your baking sheet. When ready, slide them onto a serving plate. Enjoy & Bon Appétit!
- N.B. Storage is best when placed in a metal box.
