Get ready to swoon over the perfect combination of sweet and savory in every bite with these Sweet Golden Cornbread Waffles. They will be the star of your Brunch!
In your mixing bowl, combine the yellow cornmeal together with the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar and sea salt. Make a well and add the egg, the milk and the vegetable oil. Mix until it is combined.
Scoop the batter into the Waffle Tray (about 1 scoop per well) and flatten using your offset spatula.
BAKE!
Bake for 13 minutes at 400F/200C. (Every oven heats differently, monitor your waffles from 11 minutes). They are ready once golden and separate themselves from the mold
Once your Sweet Golden Cornbread Waffles are out of the oven, let them cool down for about a minute, then, unmold. Serve as is or with a fried egg on top with avocado, it's delicious! Bon Appétit!
