Get caught in the web of deliciousness with a spooky twist on puff pastry! This pumpkin butter spider is hauntingly irresistible. Perfect for Halloween treats that will make your taste buds scream with delight!
Roll the first puff pastry directly onto your Large Bonmat. Spread generously the Pumpkin butter on top of the puff pastry leaving 1" | 2 cm on the sides.
2 Puff pastry sheets, 6 oz pumpkin butter
Take the second puff pastry out of the fridge and flip it on top. Press all around to seal it and place a bowl at the center of the dough to use as a guide: Starting from the corners, slice the dough going all around from the top and bottom. (NOTE: Do not throw away the extra dough just slice it in 3 - 4 pieces and twist). Now but one side in 4 strips and the do the same for the other side. Twist each legs.
Brush the egg wash and add the sprinkle mix.
4 Tbsp sprinkles, 1 egg
BAKE!
Bake for 20 minutes at 400F/200C. (Every oven heats differently, monitor your spider from 15 minutes). It is ready when the pastry has puffed and is golden.
Once your Puff Pastry Pumpkin Butter Spider is out of the oven, set aside to cool down. Enjoy & "BONE" Appétit!
