Ingredients

  • 1.41 oz (40 g) butter (Melted)
  • 16 oz (450 g) Marshmallows (1 Bag | 64 pcs | Jet-Puffed Brand)
  • 6.17 oz (175 g) Rice Krispies Cereals (Kelloggs Brand | 7 cups)
  • 2 Tbsp sprinkles (Foliay | Glory Days)

Instructions

  • Set aside a 9-inch | 22 cm round microwavable dish. NOTE: For this recipe, I used my Round Mold placed on top of a microwavable plate, Set aside.

RICE KRISPY TREATS PREPARATION

  • Add the butter to your round dish. Cover with a silicone sheet, or cling film, and heat in the microwave for 1 minute.
    1.41 oz butter
  • When ready, carefully remove the silicone sheet. Add the marshmallows and stir to coat with butter. Return to the microwave uncovered and cook for 2 minutes or until marshmallows are big and fluffy.
    16 oz Marshmallows
  • Add in the Rice Krispy Cereal in 2-3 times slowly and stir/fold to combine. NOTE: 7 cups/175 g of cereal will give you a soft/chewy marshmallow treat. Where 8 cups/200 g of cereal will give you a little more crispy treat.
    6.17 oz Rice Krispies Cereals

ASSEMBLY

  • Line a 9 x 9 inch | 22 x 22 cm mold like you would usually do and set aside. NOTE: For this recipe, I used my Square Mold placed on top of a medium perforated baking sheet. Set aside.
  • Pour your Preparation directly into prepared pan. Use your Spatula to push it towards each corners without pressing it down too much. NOTE: By doing so you will have aery treats to enjoy.
Scoop the Patriotic sprinkles on top and let it set for an hour or two. NOTE: For This Recipe I used the Glory Days Nonpareils Mix from Foliay.
NOTE 2: I usually prepare mine the night before so they are ready for the next day. At that point I unmold my treats onto my chopping board and slice it into 16 squares. Enjoy & Bon Appétit!
