Oven-Baked Crispy Lemon Chicken

This Oven-Baked Lemon Chicken is crispy and full of flavor! Bonus: It is cooked in the oven and not fried at all!

Ingredients
 

  • 1 Lbs (450 g) Chicken Thighs
  • 1 Lemon (Zest + Juice)
  • 1 1/4 cups (75 g) bread crumbs (I used Panko)
  • Sel Gris Mill (Season to Taste)
  • Pepper Mill (Season to Taste)

Instructions
 

CHICKEN PREPARATION

  • In your mixing bowl, mix in the bread crumbs with the lemon zest. Season with Salt and Pepper. Set aside.
  • Juice your lemon into another bowl. Set aside.
  • Slice your chicken thighs into strips of even thickness. Add them to the lemon juice, toss to coat.
  • Roll them into the lemony bread crumbs, making sure they are well coated, then place them directly on your Bonmat™. Repeat the process until all the chicken strips are coated.

BAKE!

  • Bake for 18 minutes or more depending on the thickness of your chicken at 400F/200C. Use the Digital Thermometer to ensure the chicken is cooked through at 165°F/75C.
  • Once your Oven-Baked Crispy Lemon Chicken is out of the oven, serve right away with your favorite side. Enjoy & Bon Appétit!
