This Maple Candied Bacon with Brown Sugar is the perfect side for your Summer Cookout! Make it in the oven it is mess free!

Ingredients
 

  • 10 thick-cut bacon slices
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup
  • 1 tps Chipotle Mustard
  • 1 tps light brown sugar

Instructions
 

MAPLE BACON PREPARATION

  • Arrange the bacon in one layer on your Flexiflat® Tray . Bake for 15 minutes at 400F/200C until browned but not crispy. Carefully transfer to a kitchen towel to absorb the additional fat and dispose of the bacon grease from your tray.
  • In a small bowl, add the maple syrup, Chipotle Mustardand brown sugar. Use your mini whisk to combine. Set aside.
  • Return the bacon to your Flexiflat® Tray . Brush it with the glaze then turn it over (glaze down). Bake for 2 additional minutes.
  • Then, carefully turn it over and bake for another 2 minutes, or until desired doneness. Serve immediately as a side to your favorite meal. Enjoy & Bon appétit!
