Lavender Honey Baked Carrots

This tasteful baked carrots recipe will elevate any main course you make year round.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 bunch of (botte) carrots
  • 2 tbsp Lavender Honey (LINK under Equipment)
  • 3 tbsp Meyer lemon oil (LINK under Equipment)
  • 1 tsp Rosemary, Basil, Thyme herbs (LINK under Equipment)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven at 400F/200C.
  • Rince the carrots under cold water for a few minutes, towel dry, then using the peeler remove the skin. Cut the top leaving 1"/2cm for decoration.
  • Place the carrots on the Flexipan®. Set aside.
  • In a small sauce pan, using a spatula mix honey, oil, herbs and heat on low until melted.
  • Pour the honey mixture over the carrots. Using tongs ensure that the entire surface is covered. I prefer to use my hands (Be careful it is very hot).
  • Bake for 30 minutes at 400F/200C. (Every oven heats differently, monitor your carrots from 25min). Using a fork, check for tenderness.
  • Once your carrots are out of the oven, slide them onto a plate. Then, Serve and Enjoy!
