Instructions

HOT COCOA BAR SET-UP

  • CHOOSE A TRAY FOR DISPLAY. Especially if you need your Hot Cocoa Bar to be mobile, I would suggest to place the jars on a tray. My wooden tray and jars comes from Etsy (link).
  • GET LABELS. Labeling is not necessary but yet super fun and can dress up your plain jars. My labels come from Etsy (link).
  • JAR 1 COCOA. Add your favorite cocoa such as peppermint, mocha, caramel or even habanero!
  • JAR 2 MARSHMALLOW. Add your favorite ones such as mini, peppermint, cinnamon and even gluten free!
  • JAR 3 CANDY CANE. Add mini one with original peppermint flavors or cinnamon!
  • You can also add a few accents on your hot chocolate bar. I have added another Etsy shop (link).

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the milk and cornstarch. Set aside.
2.15 oz milk, 1 tsp corn starch
  • In a medium saucepan, heat the milk on medium low until it starts boiling. Keep on whisking so that the milk does not burn.
    6.70 oz milk
  • As soon as it begins to boil, add the milk/cornstarch mixture, then the peppermint cocoa. Continue to whisk until combined.
    0.71 oz peppermint cocoa
  • Add the dark chocolate chips and let it cook for 3 minutes. Take it out from the heat as it will thicken as it cools down.
    3.52 oz dark chocolate chips
  • Serve with peppermint marshmallows and candy cane. Bon Appétit & Happy Holidays!
