Harry Potter | Butterbeer Recipe

Ingredients
 

BUTTERBEER

  • 2 Liters cream soda (I used A&W)
  • 1/4 tsp (1.23 g) caramel extract
  • 1/4 tsp (1.25 g) butter extract

BUTTERSCOTCH CREAM

  • 8.47 oz (240 g) heavy cream (Very Cold)
  • 4 oz (115 g) butterscotch syrup (I used Monin)
  • 1.06 oz (30 g) powdered sugar

Instructions
 

BUTTERBEER PREPARATION

  • Using a long stirrer, gently mix in the cream soda together with the caramel and butter extracts. Set aside.
    2 Liters cream soda, 1/4 tsp caramel extract, 1/4 tsp butter extract

BUTTERSCOTCH CREAM PREPARATION

  • NOTE: Place the mixing bowl along with the beaters in the freezer for 15 minutes prior preparing the butterscotch cream. This will help your whipped cream to be stiff and fluffy.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks. Fold the butterscotch syrup and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy. Keep refrigerated until your assemble your butterbeer. IMPORTANT: Do not overmix.
    8.47 oz heavy cream, 4 oz butterscotch syrup, 1.06 oz powdered sugar

ASSEMBLY

  • Pour the soda mixture into your favorite Harry Potter glass or mug. Then, add dollops of butterscotch cream over the butterbeer. Enjoy Wizards ; Magic always happens in the kitchen!
