Prepare to be spooked by this Ghostly Pear & Blue Cheese Pizza! Sink your teeth into a hauntingly delicious combination that will leave you spellbound. Get ready for a frightfully fabulous feast that will make your taste buds scream with delight!
NOTE: For this recipe, I have made my dough from scratch but you can use your favorite dough recipe of store bought pizza dough.Take your dough out and form a ball. Transfer it in a clean bowl and cover. Let it rise in a turned off preheated oven (100F/37C) for 1 hour or at room temperature for 90 minutes, until double in size.

ASSEMBLY
Once the dough has doubled, punch the dough down, and transfer it onto your prepared work station. Roll the dough into a "ghostly shape", you can use a silicone proof knife to do so. Set aside on the prepared baking sheet.
Thinly slice your pear, and using a piping tip carve the eyes and mouth (smaller size for the eyes & larger size for the mouth. Set aside.Brush the top of the dough with olive oil, sprinkle with shredded cheese, and crumbled blue cheese. Add your sliced pears.
1 pear, 1 Tbsp olive oil, 4 oz Gruyère Cheese, 2 oz blue cheese
BAKE!
Preheat oven to 450℉/225℃. (This allows the dough to rest while your oven is preheating). Bake for 15 minutes. (Every oven heats differently, monitor your Pizza from 12 minutes).
While your pizza is in the oven prepare the sliced cheese by using your favorite ghost cookie cutter.Once your Ghostly Pear & Blue Cheese Pizza is out of the oven, dress your pizza with the ghost cutout cheese and dollops of apricot jam.Slide the pizza onto your serving board.
