Ghostly Pear & Blue Cheese Pizza (Halloween)

Ingredients
 

HERB INFUSED PIZZA DOUGH

  • 1 bag (500 g) bon COOK™ Pizza Dough Mix
  • 8.65 oz (245 g) milk (1 cup | Lukewarm)
  • 3.55 oz (100 g) olive oil (1/2 cup)

TOPPINGS

  • 1 pear (Red Anjou | Firm )
  • 1 Tbsp (15 g) olive oil
  • 4 oz (115 g) Gruyère Cheese (Shredded)
  • 2 oz (56 g) blue cheese (Roquefort)
  • Gruyère Cheese (4 Slices)

Instructions
 

HERB INFUSED PIZZA DOUGH PREPARATION

  • Place milk and olive oil in a small sauce pan and heat on low until lukewarm. Set aside.
    8.65 oz milk, 3.55 oz olive oil
  • Inside the bowl of your standing mixer, combine bon COOK's Pizza dry mix together with the packet of yeast. Knead for about 5 minutes on the lowest speed of your stand mixer. The dough is ready once it does not stick to the side of your bowl.

  • Take your dough out and form a ball. Transfer it in a clean bowl and cover. Let it rise in a turned off preheated oven (100F/37C) for 1 hour or at room temperature for 90 minutes, or until double in size.

ASSEMBLY

  • Once the dough has doubled, punch the dough down, and transfer it onto your Roul'Pat®. Roll the dough into a "ghostly shape", you can use your silicone proof knife to do so. Set aside on your Large Bonmat on the top of your Large Perforated Baking Sheet.
  • Thinly slice your pear, and using a piping tip carve the eyes and mouth. Set aside.

  • Now, brush the top of the dough with olive oil, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and crumbled blue cheese and add your sliced pears.
    1 Tbsp olive oil, 4 oz Gruyère Cheese, 2 oz blue cheese

BAKE!

  • Preheat oven to 450F/225C. (This allows the dough to rest while your oven is preheating). Bake for 15 minutes. (Every oven heats differently, monitor your Pizza from 12 minutes).
  • While your pizza is in the oven prepare the mozzarella by using your favorite ghost cookie cutter.
  • Once your Ghostly Pear & Blue Cheese Pizza is out of the oven, dress your pizza with the mozzarella cheese. Slide it onto your serving board. Enjoy with a your favorite mixed salad or just as is! Bon Appétit!
