Express Oven Baked Belgium Waffles

Ingredients
 

  • 2 1/2 tbsp (35 g) butter (melted)
  • 2 tbsp (24 g) sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups (185 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp (12 g) baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp (0.75 g) sea salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup (245 g) milk
  • 1 tsp (4 g) vanilla extract

Instructions
 

WAFFLES PREPARATION

  • Place butter in a small sauce pan and heat on low until melted. Set aside.
  • In your mixing bowlcombine the sugar, flour, baking powder and sea salt. Make a well and add the egg. Gently start mixing inwards going outwards with your mini whisk. Add the milk, a splash at a time while continuing mixing. Then, add the cooled butter and vanilla extract. Mix until it is all incorporated.
  • Scoop the batter into the Flexipat® (About 1 scoop per well) and flatten using your offset spatula.

BAKE!

  • Bake for 20 minutes at 415F/220C. (Every oven heats differently, monitor your waffles from 18min).
  • Once your waffles are out of the oven, let them cool down for about 1min. Then, Unmold, Serve and Enjoy! Bon Appétit!
