Cranberry Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Ingredients
 

  • 6 thick-cut bacon slices
  • 2 Lbs (908 g) Brussels sprouts (Halved | Stems Removed)
  • 8 oz (225 g) fresh cranberries (Washed)
  • 1 orange (Washed | Quartered)
  • 2 Tbsp (28 g) olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp (30 g) Maple syrup
  • Sel Gris Mill
  • Pepper Mill

Instructions
 

ROAST BACON

  • Arrange the bacon in one layer on your Rectangular Mold. Roast for 20 minutes at 400F/200C rotating half way (cooking time will depend on the thickness of bacon). Carefully transfer the bacon onto a kitchen towel to absorb the fat. Set aside. NOTE: Do not throw away the bacon fat.
    6 thick-cut bacon slices

ROAST BRUSSELS SPROUTS / CRANBERRIES / ORANGE

  • Increase oven temperature to 425/220C. To the bacon fat, add the Brussels sprouts, cranberries and orange. Season with olive oil, sel gris and pepper (to taste). Toss to coat.
    2 Lbs Brussels sprouts, 8 oz fresh cranberries, 1 orange, 2 Tbsp olive oil, Sel Gris Mill, Pepper Mill
  • Once your Cranberry Brussels Sprouts are out of the oven, drizzle the maple syrup and gently toss to coat. Add the bacon and serve while hot with your favorite main course. Bon Appétit & Happy Holidays!
