Instructions

CHRISTMAS CRACK PREPARATION

  • Place the crackers in a single layer on your Fleximat or the baking sheet you have prepared.
  • In a medium saucepan, place the butter and brown sugar, gently bring to a boil. Then, boil for 3 minutes.
  • Pour the butter/brown sugar mixture over the crackers and spread with a spatula to coat.
  • BAKE - Place your tray in the oven and bake for 3-5 minutes, or until bubbling at 400F/200C.
Carefully remove the tray from the oven and immediately scatter the chocolate chunks over the top.
  • BAKE - Return the tray back in the oven for another 2-3 minutes to melt the chocolate at 400F/200C.
Carefully remove the tray from the oven and immediately spread the chocolate evenly with a spatula to coat.
  • Add the sprinkles on top of the chocolate. Let the toffee sit until completely cool, either at room temperature or you can refrigerate. Cut into pieces and serve. NOTE: This toffee is best enjoyed when stored in a metal tin box until 3 days. Enjoy & Happy Holidays!
