Buttermilk Apple Mini Cakes

Don't you think Buttermilk should always be baked in an Apple Cake? I surely do, it adds so much fluffiness, it's really incredible!

Ingredients
 

  • 1 2/3 cups (200 g) flour (Sifted)
  • 1 1/4 tsp (6 g) baking powder
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) sugar
  • 3 eggs (Beaten)
  • 1/3 cup (85 g) buttermilk
  • 6 Tbsp (90 g) butter (Melted)
  • 1 Large apple (Diced)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350F/180C.
  • In a mixing bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and sugar together.
  • Make a well and whisk in the eggs until combined.
  • Add the buttermilk and cooled melted butter. Whisk well.
  • Using your spatula, carefully fold in the diced apples.
  • Using your mini Ladle, scoop the batter into each well of your Flexipan®.
  • Bake for 25 minutes at 350F/180C. (Every oven heats differently, monitor your cakes from 20min).
  • Once your mini cakes are out of the oven, let them completely cool down before unmolding.
