This creamy Brazilian Lemonade with Coconut Milk (Limonada Suíça) is the ultimate refreshing summer drink! Made with fresh limes, Nestlé sweetened condensed milk, coconut milk, and ice, this tropical Brazilian limeade is sweet, tangy, frosty, and ready in minutes. Perfect for BBQs, summer parties, pool days, or an easy tropical drink at home!
NOTE:This recipe makes a full 64 oz | 2 Quart | 1.9 Liters pitcher.
BRAZILIAN LEMONADE PREPARATION
Wash the limes under cold water. Discard the top and bottom parts and slice them in 8 parts each. Add them to a blender. NOTE:YES, we are keeping the skin to enjoy all the vitamins!
4 limes
Pour the cold spring water over the limes and blend for no more than 15 seconds. NOTE:The more you blend, the bitterer the limeade will turn out.
24 oz Spring Water
Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the juice from the blender into a mixing bowl. NOTE:Do not throw away the bended peel, you can use it in your baking and in your summer marinades. It stays well up to 3 days.
BLEND SMOOTH
Return the strained lime juice into the rinsed blender. Add the sweetened condensed milk, coconut milk (I found it is best to use the one in a can) and one cup of ice. Blitz until silky, about 1 minute. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed. Transfer to a pitcher.
14 oz sweetened condensed milk, 8 oz coconut milk, 1 cup ice
Refrigerate until cold, about 4 hours. Serve over ice. Enjoy Summer!NOTE: Keeps well in the refrigerator up to 3 days. Give it a little shake once out of the fridge to combine all the flavors.
