Ingredients

BISQUICK APPLE SAUCE INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups (240 g) Bisquick
  • 1/4 cup (50 g) sugar
  • 1 tsp (2 g) ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup (125 g) Unsweetened Applesauce
  • 1/4 cup (60 g) milk
  • 2 Tbsp (28 g) vegetable oil

CINNAMON SUGAR INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Tbsp (55 g) butter (Melted)
  • 1 tsp (2 g) ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup (50 g) sugar

Instructions

BISQUICK APPLE SAUCE PREPARATION

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together all the dry ingredients (Bisquick, sugar, ground cinnamon). Make a well and add the egg. Gently start mixing inwards going outwards with your mini whisk. Add the applesauce, milk and vegetable oil. Mix until it is all incorporated.
  • Pour your preparation into your Flexipan®. Cover with your Bonmat so the Puffs rise flat.

BAKE!

  • Bake for 15 minutes at 350F/180C. (Every oven heats differently, monitor your cake from 12min). It is ready when the toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Once your Applesauce Puffs are out of the oven, let them cool down for about 10min. Then, Unmold and set aside.

CINNAMON SUGAR PREPARATION

  • While your cakes are cooling, prepare the cinnamon sugar. Place butter in a small sauce pan and heat on low until melted. Meanwhile, combine the sugar and cinnamon.
  • Then, brush the melted butter on your puffs and coat with the cinnamon/sugar mixture. Enjoy warm or at room temperature. Enjoy & Bon Appétit!
