Get ready to wrap up some spooky fun this Halloween night! These Banana and Chocolate Mummy Wraps are the perfect treat to delight your little ghouls and goblins: Imagine warm, flaky puff pastry hugging sweet, gooey chocolate and banana—a deliciously eerie twist on a classic treat!
Peel your bananas. Using a small spoon dig into the banana so that there is enough room to place the chocolate bars in the center. Set aside.
3 bananas, 3 chocolate bars
Unroll the puff pastry into a rectangle. Use a silicone proof knife to slice 1/2-inch | 2 cm strips. Wrap 4 to 5 pieces around each bananas, leaving a gap to where you will place the google eyes once they are baked and cooled down. . Place the wrapped bananas directly on the medium Bonmat.
1/2 puff pastry sheet
BAKE!
Bake for 20 minutes at 400F/200C. (Every oven heats differently, monitor your pastry from 15 minutes). It is ready when the pastry has puffed and is golden.
Once your Banana and Chocolate Mummy Wraps are out of the oven, let them cool down completely on the baking sheet. Once they have cooled down, arrange the goggley eyes (HERE is the recipe if you'd like to make them homemade) and serve at room temperature. "BONE" Appétit & Happy HALLOWEEN!
