This Amputated Charcuterie Board is the ultimate Halloween appetizer: Creepy, cheesy, and irresistibly delicious! Instructions
AMPUTATED APPETIZER PREPARATION
Create a template on a piece of parchment paper by tracing your arm and hand with a food proof pen. NOTE:If you do not have one, you just need to flip the parchment paper over.
In a mixing bowl, using a handheld mixer, cream the cream cheese together with the goat cheese.
8 oz cream cheese, 5 oz Boursin cheese
Use a small cookie scoop to transfer about half the cream cheese mixture to the palm area of the template. Use a spatula to gently smooth out the cream cheese mixture and create a small well to form the bottom layer of the palm of the hand.
Add the chopped roasted red bell peppers to the center of the bottom layer of the palm.Add the remaining cheese mixture on top of the bell pepper. Smooth out with a spatula.
7 oz roasted red bell pepper
Add the prosciutto rolls for the arm and fingers. Shape any areas to even out the transition between the palm and fingers and the arm.
1 large mozzarella and prosciutto panino roll, 5 small mozzarella and prosciutto panino rolls
Cover the cheese layer with slices of prosciutto, trimming where needed.
1 pkg sliced prosciutto
Refrigerate the arm for a few hours to firm up the cream cheese mixture so the arm can be moved off the parchment paper and onto a serving platter or cutting board. Serve with crackers. Enjoy! "BONE" Appétit & Happy Halloween!NOTE:You can store the prepared charcuterie board up to 3 days.
