Easy Yogurt Cake Trio

Do you need to bake a cake and you are worried that not everyone will like it? Well, this is never going to be a worry for you once you get your Almond Flexipan® Tray! I Love mine and use it all the time.

This recipe is coming directly from Amel‘s (@amel_mkahli) instagram. She always bakes nice things and I truly fell in Love with it because, it is perfect for me. The link to her recipe is right HERE!

Easy Yogurt Cake Trio

These cakes are wonderful because with one base you can make three different preparations: There is something for every one.

Ingredients
 

YOGURT CAKE BATTER

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) sugar
  • 2 tsp (10 g) Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup (120 g) Skyr yogurt
  • 1/3 cup (75 g) Vegetable oil
  • 1 1/4 cup (150 g) flour (Sifted)
  • 1 1/4 tsp (6 g) baking powder

CAKE FILLING + DECORATION

  • 1 apple (Peeled – 1/2 Sliced + 1/2 Diced)
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) Semi Sweet Chocolate chip (1/3 + 2/3 )
  • 1 banana (1/2 Sliced + 1/2 Diced)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350F/180C.
  • In the bowl of your stand mixer beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla extract for about 10 min (Medium speed).
  • Then, whisk in the yogurt, vegetable oil, flour and baking powder.
  • Place your Almond Flexipan® Tray on the top of your Medium Perforated Baking Sheet.
  • Pour 1/3 of the batter in each well. Then, in one, mix in the diced apples, the other one the chocolate chips and in the last one the diced bananas. Decorate the top accordingly with the remaining fruits.
  • Bake for 25 minutes at 350F/180C. (Every oven heats differently, monitor your cakes from 20min).
  • Once your cakes are out of the oven, wait about 10 minutes before unmolding directly onto your serving plate. Enjoy & Bon Appétit!
